⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ Attention. Health Secretary Matt Hancock has made a Commons statement this afternoon placing us sadly into Tier 4. So as from Midnight tonight, we have been left with no choice but to close the doors until the Tier 4 restrictions are reviewed again, and we are given the green light to reopen. All those members that have pre-booked (and pre-paid) will be able to move your booking to the first available date of there choosing once we are allowed to reopen. Once again I wish to thank all our RAGC members for the continuing support and patience, RAGC is your club and we the committee thank you all in these very uncertain and difficult times. Please keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for the latest updates as to when we will be able to reopen. Stay safe, have a Happy New Year, and we hope to see you all very soon in the new year. The Committee ….

‼️We are now taking phone bookings‼️😃

Bookings will only be taken in club opening hours..😃👍🏻

When you book over the phone, you will be sent a link to make a payment, then you will have an hour to make your payment. If your payment isn’t made within the hour your booking slot will be cancelled.

Hope this will go along way to helping our staff and members to maintain social distancing within the club. Also helping those members that do live some distance from the club to guarantee a shooting lane. 👍🏻

Thanks again to all members for your patient and understanding as we all come to terms to these new processes. 👍🏻

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

This Tuesday we are back open from 6pm to Members only. 😊

Glynn and Aaron will open up the club at 3:30 – 5:30 for any membership renewals or new members wishing to join. They will also be take future booking for this Wednesday the 15th and onwards.

YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOOK IN FOR THIS TUESDAY (14th) NIGHT, LANES WILL BE ALLOCATED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS AS NORMAL FROM 6pm.

There will be some teething issues but we would like to thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding. 😊👍🏻

Hi all.

In order to speed up our process in handling renewals and new memberships. Here is the form that needs to be filled in.

We ask ALL renewals and new members alike to print this pic off and fill in before attending the club (if possible) and bring 2 forms of ID. This will speed up the process due to the limited amount of people we are allowed to have on site and will in turn avoid any possible queuing outside the club until it’s safe for you to enter.

⚠️⚠️⚠️All current members please be aware if you don’t bring your membership card along with you when attending the club you will not be allowed to enter (unless you are renewing your membership as it’s due to run out).⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️

Once again sorry for what seems very harsh rules but we have to be mindful of numbers on site at anyone time. (Not our choosing I might add ☹️)

Thanks in advance, and look forward to seeing you at the club very soon 👍🏻

We are re-opening

Announcement⚠️⚠️⚠️

WE ARE OPENING TO MEMBERS ONLY ON THE 14/7/2020 at 6pm!!! 😀

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

The club will be open to members only from the 14th of this month, we will be opening our normal hour for now, with a view to opening more hours when it’s safe to do so. 😊👍🏻

Unfortunately we have to put some rules in place in order for us to open under the social distancing guildlines. So please read carefully as we don’t want to offend anybody by having to refuse them entry.

I know many of you may have questions, but please bear with us and we shall try to answer them as best we can.

RAGC COVID-19 RULES

  1. All shooting lanes must be pre-book and pre-paid (walk-in and payment can be made on arrival on first visit only on a first come first served system) due to limited persons allowed on site at any one given time to comply with social distancing. NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED UNTIL SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES ARE LIFTED. (This will be under constant review, and may change if we feel that we can manage wall-ins with social distancing)
  2. All shooting lanes will be allocated in 30min blocks (ie you can book 30mins or 3hrs, still only paying one range fee) and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. (Please be mindful of other members when booking a lane as to how much time you will be shooting to allow other members the opportunity to shoot)
  3. The club will be open to MEMBERS ONLY until social distancing rules are lifted. (If your membership has ran out or wish to join as a member, you will be asked to renew and pay for your membership on your first visit back to the club before you will be allowed to book or shoot.)
  4. Members will be limited to 2 booking slots per week, and restrict to booking only one week in advance. This is in order to give ALL members availability to book a shooting lane. (This will also be under constant review and may change without notice if we feel that we can manage more bookings)
  5. All members while on site MUST adhere to social distancing rules and must follow staff instructions at all times. This is to protect Staff and members alike, anyone failing to adhere to the guidelines or following staff instructions may be asked to leave the site.
  6. Members on arrival at the club must hand sanitise on entering the club, and may only go to his or hers shooting lane when instructed to do so by a member of staff this is in order for the club to ensure safe social distancing. (do not go straight in and drop off your guns on the benches before instructed to do so, failing to follow the guidelines may result in you being asked to leave the club for non compliance of the social distancing rules)
  7. All members shooting in the 10m pistols/rifle range and 15m plinking range MUST wear a face mask in order for us to adhere to social distancing mitigation. (This is due to the close confinement of these areas) so if you are booked into these areas please remember to bring your face mask or face coverings as we will refuse any person booked into these ranges without one. (Face masks may be available for purchase at the club, subject to availability. )
  8. Members will have to bring there own shooting bags/rest or bipods and fill probes as the clubs will not be provided these until lockdown is lifted in order to minimise any possible cross contamination.

We ask that you be respectful of all persons on site with regards to social distancing and adhere to all staff instructions.

We will NOT be open to the general public until social distancing rules are lifted. It will be MEMBERS ONLY until further notice. (subject to daily review)

These rule are in place in order for us to open under government social distancing rules, and to be followed without exception, failure to do so may result in the club having to close until social distancing has fully been lifted. We understand that at times you may feel frustration and you may feel that we don’t know what we are doing, this is because we don’t, this is new to everyone….that includes you!. All we ask is that you have patience and understanding with us as we try our upmost to keep the club open in these very certain times.

We ask all members to work with us and help us keep your club open though these difficult times, and hopefully soon all these restrictions will be lifted and we can get back to normal. You may have many questions, but please bear in mind that these are unprecedented times and we, like yourself are trying do our best to make it work.

Remember this is your club, the members, and we will do everything we can in order for you to shoot in a safe environment under government social distancing rules.

Thanks for you patience, and look forward to seeing you all at the club soon.
Keep safe…!
