Rochdale Air Gun Club is managed by Club Members in the form of a Management Committee (the committee). The committee is governed by the Club Members by way of electing members to the Management Committee at Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings or voting them off through a vote of no confidence.
The Directors of the Club hold non-executive office and have a supervisory role whereby they are entitled to advise and make recommendations to the Management Committee and, if worst comes to worst, have the power to disband the Management Committee for a new committee to be elected at a subsequent (annual or extraordinary) general meeting.
Any member who wishes to bring something to the attention of the Committee, or who wants the Committee to consider any request for change or investment in the facilities or running of the club may contact the Secretary to table a topic for discussion. You can also speak to any committee member, or to paid staff at reception to have your requests forwarded, of course.
